Red Roses And White Lace

Red roses and white lace,
That was in present when she first got married,
She had a dozen roses in her hands,
She had some white lace among her wedding dress,
It was suppose to be the start of forever,
But forever only lasted for over two years,
Red roses and white lace,
Faded quick and fast,
Dreams she thought would last forever,
Vanished quickly as she stepped onto the plane,
And came back to the place she called home,
And she than ran into the arms of people who really loved,
And she thought perhaps red roses and white lace
Were never truly meant to be,
Red roses and white lace,
Seemed so faded and gone,
Never to return it seemed as her dreams were covered,
By the ice and cold,
As the winter set in and she closed her heart,
Thinking that never could happiness come again,
Thinking that dreams would be frozen in ice,
Red roses and white lace,
Seemed to be such a distant memory,
But than you came into my life,
Melted all the ice and cold,
Melted all the snow and winter,
Melted the chain around my heart,
And than red roses and white lace
Seemed to be possible again,
When you came to me,
When you came to hold me,
When you came to stand by my side,
When I knew that love will last eternity,
And that red roses and white lace,
Will be forever this time.
