Perfection

Many people may say there can be no perfection, That nothing can be truly mistake free, That there is no way, but I can’t believe them, There might be hard times in life, There is bad as well as good, My life might not be perfect to those that might see, Dealing with hardship, Dealing with times of questioning, Dealing with uncertainty, But no matter what might be thrown in my way, No matter what I may deal with, No matter what tests might come into my path, There is still perfection in my life, Because I have two important things in my life, That makes everything all right, I have the faith in God, And although there are days of hardship, And times that literally bring me down to my knees, Times of wondering why, I still believe every day that He is there for me, That no matter what I might go through, He knows what I can handle with His strength, And thanks to His wonderful blesses He has bestowed, He gave me my wonderful Troy, Who

Life As A Medical Anomaly Part 3

I am grateful for the doctors I have been seeing, when I was without insurance I dreamed of having decent doctors that seemed to truly care and engage me the way that the doctors I have come to know.   My primary care doctor is funny, sweet, is very upfront, and honest.   When I started having the pain issues and then later start having my asthma getting worse again she was more than happy to get me connected to the two different specialists that could help me and she has done an amazing job.   My pain specialist is informative, easy going, easy to talk to, and makes sure I understand everything, is always impressed on how much I am involved in my health care, and always enjoys that I put so much thoughts within my care.   Recently, I gained a new lung specialist that seems to be very interested to try new things, test new things, and interested in trying to figure out what will help my asthma be more manageable.   Since the loss of Dr. Hahn, who was my old lung specialist, for a

God Has Truly Blessed Me

God has truly blessed me in every part of my life, Even before I knew him, He has protected me, Even through my darkest and deepest sins, He has given me forgiveness; He has given me hope, He has given me truth, He has poured out the things I have lost, To a better and bigger picture, I still have a long way to go, I still have many lessons to learn, I still need to keep walking in faith every day, I am grateful to Him for providing for my needs, And the needs of my husband, And the needs of many others I care about, He gave me a caring husband, Who is there for me every step of the way, Who has become my best friend, And someone I know I can count on, He gave me peace when I lost some friends, Due to walking and wanting to please Him, It has not always been easy, Dealing with health issues and losing friends, But He gives me the strength to face each day, And He helps me encourage others, who need Him, And He gives me everything I could

We Promised

We promised those many years ago to never forget, But it seems that we cannot keep that promise yet, We go about our daily lives, And do we even remember our history and those lives? Do we remember to thank those that brought our freedom? Do we remember every moment those who lost have gone through? Do we remember what truly blesses this nation? Do we not just fight those that come to hurt us, But to give love to every person around us? To show courageous love and stand for truth? To remember the blessings we do have today, Even with remembering this deep hurt of our world than, And the deep hurt our world is dealing with now, There is still so much we need to do, In order to give true legacy to those who were lost, Those that helped others, Were there for others, That was important to others, And to those that were spared, We promised so many years ago, But now today we need to make good on those promises, Not only to not forget the event
