Ever Since The Holy Spirit Has Visited Me


Ever since the Holy Spirit has visited me,
Ever since you have entered into my heart,
Since I have lost my best friend,
I have found a peace that have overcome me,
A peace that is greater than the loss,
That I have come to bear,
The tears do not even threaten me,
The hurt does not even threaten me no longer,
It isn’t that I do not care about the loss,
It isn’t that I do not miss the friendship,
It isn’t that I do not miss him as a friend,
But having you in my life God,
Having you come visit my soul,
Granting that peace within me every day,
Giving me that strength when I had none,
Giving me that strength when I fully broke down,
Giving me that strength when I felt I couldn’t bear it anymore,
You showed me the compassion,
You showed me the grace,
You showed me the love,
That you show in your Word,
That you show in your Presence,
That you show in your Love,
That you show in your Holiness,
That you shows in your everything,
Ever since the Holy Spirit has visited me,
Ever since it entered into my heart,
Ever since it came into my life,
Every moment,
Even through the rough ones,
Even through the good ones,
Even through all the between,
I have found joy I have never fully known,
I have found peace that is truly everlasting,
I have found love beyond my wildest dreams,
I have found everything I have ever dreamed,
And although I might lose certain things in my life,
And people I have known in my life,
I will never regret the decision,
The moment I made the confession,
The moment I repented my sins,
The moment I let God into my life,
The moment I let God become my Savior,
Because now as I continue to grow,
Because now as I continue to walk,
Because now even if I suffer certain losses,
I find peace that I have never had before,
Find peace that is beyond temporary means,
Find the peace I have always searched for,
Because now the Holy Spirit visits me daily,
And I am at peace with my life,
And I can come to peace with my days,
And I am at peace with my decisions,
As I serve Him the best I can daily forever more.
