Letting It All Go

I am letting it all go,
Letting the past pain fall to the waste side,
Letting the bitterness fade into the black,
Letting you live your life,
Letting me go on with mine,
I have the strength to let it go,
I only now wish the best for you,
What happens now I am not sure,
But I know that I am letting it all go,
I have come to a peaceful ending,
I have found the peace I’ve longed for,
I only hope in time you find yours,
What you do now is up to you,

My energies of pain have disappeared,
Day by day it is getting stronger,
This knowing that it is gone,
I have found someone who loves me,
Someone who will love me like no other,
One that makes my heart sing,

I was in pain for a long time,
I have been bitter for even longer,
But I am letting it all go,
Letting it fall to the waste side,
My energies are better used elsewhere,
My energies are not on you anymore,
So go ahead and turn fully away,
I have closed this chapter,

Letting the hurt disappear,
Letting the bitterness end now,
