We Are In An Emergency

We are in an emergency,
This world of ours is not what it should be,
There is so much crime,
There is so much pain,
There is so much hatred around us,
There is so many people living in fear,
What happened to peace on earth?
What happened to loving everyone?
What happened to joy on earth?
What happened to treating others well?
We are in an emergency,
This world of ours is not what it should be,
There is so much hurt,
There is so many families torn apart,
There is so much worry about not being safe,
Where is our safety?
Where is our peace?
Where is our harmony?
Where is the love?
We are in an emergency,
This world of ours is not what it could be,
There is so much indifference,
There is so much strife,
There are so many people not knowing where to turn,
There are so many people lost and not knowing their way,
Where are the dreams?
Where is the faith in God?
Where is the hope?
Where is the ability to lean on each other?
We are in an emergency,
This world of ours is not what it could be,
There are so many things that could be better,
There are so many dreams that could be had,
There is a way for our faith to be restored,
There is a way for things to be better,
This I know to be true,
But at this moment we are at this,
We are in an emergency,
There is no doubt about it,
The evidence is everywhere we look,
It’s everywhere we can see,
But it doesn’t have to be like this,
It doesn’t have to always be like this,
There is a way to change it,
We got to put our faith in God,
Believe that this world has a better tomorrow,
Believe that we can be better people,
And that this state of emergency,
Has an ability to change,
If only we put our faith in God above,
And know that he has the power to change it.
